Don’t force unanswered prayers, God knows better

Yesterday I learned what it means to step outside the will of God…

I find myself in a certain situation quite regularly and when I prayed about this certain situation God has almost always answered that Prayer in the past. Lately however God has not been answering my prayers about this certain situation and I forced the situation by taking matters into my own hands as I felt God does not hear my prayer anymore and the result was disastrous.

The best thing for this situation would have been to just leave it alone……

God not answering a prayer, does not mean he is not hearing the prayer

I learned this the hard way, trust me! it had terrible consequences. As you might have read in my blog I am actually very open about many things but in this case I can not reveal what the prayer and situation is about and what happened.

Jeremiah 29:12-13
Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.

The Bible clearly teaches that God hears the prayer of the righteous, the fact that the response is not what we want does not mean God is not listening, in fact He does hear but His care for us goes far beyond what we want.

God knows what is best for us even before we ask.

If you look at good parents, they do not grant every wish for their children, parents will deny the wish of the child if it is what is best for the child. Lets say the child wants to sleep late but the parents wake the child to do chores. The child may think what is the harm in sleeping late? The chores can wait, the child may also think that the parents could easily do the chores themselves, which the parents probably would have no problem doing. The issue here is not the chores but to teach the child to be disciplined.

The same can be said about praying for abundance of wealth. God could easily provide many Christians with wealth beyond their wildest dreams thus not having to work or struggle, but then how would these children grow in faith? Would these children even serve God? For God the salvation of His child takes precedence over a easy life on earth.

James 1: 2-3 ² Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, ³ because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.

I need to learn to trust God a lot more, I want to say I need to trust God 100% but I am human and will fail. I need to trust the Bible, which teaches that God does hear our prayers no matter the response.

Lately my Life has been very difficult and I have been going through very difficult times in my businesses, my marriage my children’s schooling, in almost all areas of my life I seem to be struggling. I am begging and pleading for God to change my circumstances, but nothing happens. It is even getting worse, I am all most convinced God not longer cares about me, but that is a lie.

I started wondering if I am still a child of God, if God even still cares for me and you know what ? He does because He is a promise keeper. God says I will never leave you I will never forsake you.

I asked God to please show to me that He is still there that He is still listing to my prayers, and you know what? He did, even if He does not need to, because I should believe His promises. He is God and I should trust Him.

When I prayed and nothing happened I should have trusted that God heard my prayer and knows what is best, but I did not and got hurt.

I know now that for a fact that the difficult time I am facing is what is best for me and I need to go through it and I should not pray for God to change it but to show me the way through it and I should ask God for strength wisdom and be joyful in my difficult time as it is in these times that we build strength.

God is who He says He is!

God promises never to leave us, never to forsake us, then that is the fact not what we feel or experience or what our current situation is insinuating.

God says He hears our prayers then that is what it is, God hears our prayers even if the response seems to show otherwise. Maybe we are not hearing or seeing His response, but trust me no response is also a response… tread lightly be patient and wait.

God says that He uses all situations for out good Romans 8:28, then my dear friend that is what it is! Even if you can not find what good can come from a situation.

God is who he says He is, God is not human who is affected by the world He stands outside of this world He is the creator of this world.

If you are going through a difficult time, trust God, He knows what He is doing and I pray for you that you may experience the grace, love and patience of God. Keep the faith, hold on God will come through for you He is a promise keeper that I promise you.
